She was friends with his brother. He was in town for a barbeque. They met, they laughed, they talked for hours, then they parted not knowing if they would see each other again. He lived in Mississippi and she was moving back to Pennsylvania. They got to know each other the old fashioned way - many, many hours on the phone. Then one day they knew they couldn't live without each other another minute. Resumes were sent out and Marissa made the move to the Gulf Coast to be with Scott. No regrets, only sublime happiness. Thanks to Marissa and Scott for letting me be a part of your love story.

Sue & Dwayne 06/05/10
Well, I certainly never thought someone could make me cry while sipping a latte in a Starbucks. BUT Dwayne was able to do just that as he explained how much he loved Sue. As he described the night of their engagement, you could hear & feel the joy in his voice. As he narrated their love story, I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. I fell in love with them as a couple very quickly. Sue is so sweet and beautiful.... Dwayne is a big teddy bear with a huge sense of humor. I couldn't wait to photograph their wedding ceremony and reception, both held at their favorite restaurant, Jazeppi's - also where they got engaged (of course)! Thank you, Dwayne and Sue for letting me document this part of your love story.

Diana & Josh 05/29/10
You never know where you will find "the ONE". Could be at a cooking class....maybe at a concert....OR you could meet through a social networking site like Diana and Josh. Diana and Josh met through mutual friends on Facebook and knew rather quickly that it was LOVE. A year and a half after meeting they were walking down the aisle. As they say, whey you know ..... you just know. Or as Dr. Seus says, "You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." Thank you Diana and Josh for letting me share your day.

Tracy & Luke Wedding - 05/15/10
It rained all week and threatened to pour down the entire day at the Old Place in Gautier. This was my second wedding where it seemed as if we would have an outdoor ceremony in the middle of a monsoon. BUT just like at the other wedding, it stopped raining about an hour before the ceremony was set to begin and the sky opened up to a beautiful overcast blue for the rest of the evening. Any of my photographer friends reading this can atest to how wonderful an overcast sky is for an outdoor wedding - creating a perfect natural-occurring filter for fantastic pictures. Tracy was so excited to be getting married. You could hear it in her giggles and see it in her gorgeous smile she flashed me several times while she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Luke was sweet as he leaned in and whispered to her when she got teary-eyed during the guitar solo. Immediately his words brought a smile to her face and a muffled giggle could be heard over the singing. "This is the start of something good, don't you agree?..." Great line. Great song. Yes, Mr. DeGraw, I agree with you. This is the start of something good.......Thank you, Tracy and Luke for letting me share your special day with you. Here are some sneak peek shots from the wedding.
